Dedicated to the exhibition of plastic arts, created by various artists from the last third of the 19th century until after the end of World War II, this hall, opened in 2008, is located in a building constructed by the architect Agustín Ortiz de Villajos for the Duchess of Medina de Torres. The building has an exhibition area of approximately 1000 m2, divided into three rooms. 💡Curiosities The Mapfre Foundation had another exhibition hall in Madrid called Sala Bárbara de Braganza, located very close to the Sala Recoletos, dedicated to the great masters of photography, now permanently closed.
